Johnstown Parish is linking with St. Mathias Church of Ireland on Church Road for a Walk of Witness on this Good Friday at Noon. There will be a short service in St. Matthias followed by the Walk carrying an 8ft high cross. Then there will be a short service in Johnstown, overall should take less than 50 minutes. Very appropriate for kids. Please pray for a turn in the weather as, at present, its due to rain on Friday morning. If you dont wish to walk back to St. Matthias Car park at the end, please come to Johnstown Car Park at 11.30 and we’ll have cars there to drive you to St. Mathias.
This is a lovely prophetic gesture of affirming that there is one Church and that God desires unity in his Body.
