I would like to thank those who have contributed in these difficult times to the Easter Dues. The Easter Dues along with the First Collection on Sundays goes to the Common Fund from which an allowance is paid to priests. As there has not been a public Mass with a congregation since the middle of March and Churches are not due to open till after 20 July, the Common Fund is greatly depleted and in danger of complete collapse. People can still donate online to the First Collection, Share and to the Easter Dues. See the Donate Page on our website
You can also put money or a cheque payable to St Brigid’s Parish and put into the letter box of the Pastoral Centre (Up the steps at the front door) or post a cheque to St Brigid’s Parish Cabinteely Dublin 18. All of us are in uncharted waters. We all look forward to the day when our Churches will be open again even if they will only be able to accommodate smaller numbers due to the requirement for physical distancing. But we are on this journey together and together and with God’s help we will find a way forward.
