Archbishop Dermot Farrell has appointed Fr Donal Roche (currently Parish Priest of the Parishes of “Wicklow-Rathnew and “Kilbride-Barndarrig-Brittas Bay”) as the new Moderator for the Parishes of Cabinteely and Johnstown-Killiney. He will have a special responsibility for the development of the pastoral care of the new town of Cherrywood in addition to his current role as Episcopal Vicar for the Deaneries of Wicklow, Bray and Donnybrook. Fr John Sinnott will continue to work with Fr Donal as a Co Parish Priest for the parishes of Cabinteely and Johnstown-Killiney with Fr Arthur O’Neill continuing in his role as a team assistant to the grouping of parishes. Fr Aquinas Duffy has been appointed as Parish priest to the Parishes of “Wicklow-Rathnew and “Kilbride-Barndarrig-Brittas Bay”. Both priests will take up their new roles on the 24th July 2023. We extend a warm welcome to Fr Donal. We wish Fr Donal and Fr Aquinas every blessing in their ministries and on the journey ahead.
