As some of you know I will be moving on from Cabinteely Parish in July after nearly seven years. I have been appointed as Parish Priest of the parishes of Wicklow and ‘Kilbride and Barndarrig’. Also going there with me will be Fr Gerard Deegan, currently in Ayrfield Parish. I am delighted to be going to Wicklow as it is the place of my birth. I am also delighted that the current Parish Priest of Wicklow and ‘Kilbride and Barndarrig’, Fr Donal Roche, is coming to Cabinteely and Johnstown-Killiney Parishes. The two parishes will be looked after by Fr Donal and Fr John Sinnott as well as by the team assistant Fr Arthur O’Neill. I ask for prayers for all of us as we face the challenges ahead.
