Christians Against Poverty (CAP)
CAP Ireland is a Christian charity that believes no Irish person should live in financial distress. CAP Ireland plans to provide the church with free-to-use practical financial tools, services, and money skills to enable financial wellbeing for their community. They are having their launch event on Thur 21st September to launch their new money coaching programme. Register for this free event through their website (above). They are looking for parishioners to pray for them by signing up to a monthly newsletter. Also looking for people to volunteer to become a CAP Coach and Befriender, both working with those in financial debt. They work alongside the St. Vincent de Paul. One parishioner in Johnstown/Killiney is a Director of CAP Ireland.
