As you are probably aware, the Department of Education and Youth conducted a nationwide survey of parents, guardians, staff and Boards of Management on their preferences for the future configuration of their local primary school. The results for St. Brigid’s Girls’ School are available and can be accessed via their website (https://www.stbrigidsgirlsschool.com/school-survey-results/). These show strong support for a co-educational school and a small majority in favour of a non-denominational ethos.
